Here on FYA, you know we like to keep it real. And that's why you'll never catch us pulling that faux-humble shizz so widely employed by Oscar winners, politicans and Thomas Kinkade. When something awesome happens to us, WE WANT TO
BRAG ABOUT IT SHARE IT WITH Y'ALL! Because you guys are the wind beneath our wings; you're the reason we can soar.
Wait, that sounds really humble, doesn't it? Crap. ok, what about this: Y'ALL WE MADE THE COVER OF THE AUSTIN CHRONICLE! HOLLA!
Well, Jenny and I did, cos we're the ones who actually live in ATX. Not only is the cover STUNNING, but the actual article is a fabulous look at the YA trend in Austin. We really appreciate the Chronicle for including us and doing the good work of YAngelism, although we did have to submit the following letter of correction:
While we deeply enjoyed being featured in the Chronicle this week, we have one small correction to offer. In Melanie's description of our book report system, she wrote that Edward Cullen rated a 10 on our swoonworthy scale. While she may have simply meant to include it as her own opinion, we fear that statement implies that our site gave him a 10, which is an egregious violation of the truth.
We happen to think that Edward Cullen is a pasty, creeptastic stalker, and the only 10 we would give to anything in Twilight is Jacob's abs.

Hopefully, this letter will be published so that this grievous error can be amended.
In addition to the Austin Chronicle, we also recently appeared on the site of the lovely Steph Su! She asked us to compile a list of books from 2010, and she even let us choose our own theme. So, of course, we chose drinking!
Just kidding. We were actually super mature (for once) and came up with our top gateway books of 2010! Since we're in the business of saving literary souls, we figured this list would come in handy for all of you tirelessly working to convert yr friends and family. Check it out and FEEL BORN AGAIN.
Alrighty, I think that's enough self-promotion for one day. Let's turn our attention back to where it belongs: champ cans! And, you know, books.
