Still trying to decide how you’re going to dress up for your outing to The Hunger Games premiere? Well, just like Cinna, I’m here to help. With makeup. You’ll have to wax your own self.

“But Jenny, I don’t even know where to begin looking for makeup to complete my Hunger Games premiere look!” (Let’s pretend you’re asking). Well, my friend, I’ve done the legwork for you (insert lame waxing joke here) and not only found the best products to complete your look, but that they’re all available online or at your local Sephora store!

Reday, set, makeup!

If you’re the kind of person who feels less is more, you might want to keep your premiere night look simple, ala Cinna:

A little gold eyeliner, and shazam! You’re done! But what eyeliner is right for you? Here’s (in my humble opinion) the best of the best:

  1. Urban Decay 24/7 Liquid Eyliner in ElDorado
  2. Sephora Collection Glitter Eyeliner in Gold
  3. Benefit Gilded Pencil
  4. L’Oreal HiP Color Crome Pencil in Gold Charge
  5. Shu Umuera Painting Liner in Gold

While the liquid and painting liners can be harder to work with initially, they offer the brightest pigment and stay put the longest, but if you’re a pencil girl, the L’Oreal has the stronger color, while Benefit’s pencil gives more of a highlight to your brow bone.

Feeling gutsy? Then you might want to try for one of Effie’s looks:

You can follow along with this chick’s tutorial, or go your own way with some of these:

  1. Illamasqua Intense Lipgloss in Fierce
  2. Lancome The Pink Carpet
  3. MAC Very Violet Eye Shadow
  4. MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in Lavender Whip
  5. Lancome Pink Punk and Black Palette in Irreverent Madame

Whether you’re a lipstick girl like me (I love MAC because it wears well and doesn’t have a ‘lipstick’ smell) or a gloss girl, these products will have you covered. For the eyeshadow, you can choose just one color and blend out, or try Lancome’s palette to create your own version of a Good Capitol Citizen!

If you do try any of these looks, be sure to send us photos of your premiere night: [email protected], and until then…

May the odds ever be in your favor!
