A few weeks ago, we sent out a cry for help call for an intern, and we were overwhelmed with the magnitude of the response. Y'all, where do you find this free time and WHERE CAN WE GET SOME? We were deeply touched by the emails we received from readers all over the world, and the whole process was a wonderful reminder that the FYA community kicks some serious ass.
It was also HELLA DIFFICULT to select one person out of such an impressive list of applicants, so after much agonizing and drinking, we finally selected not one but two fabulous individuals. And today, we're proud to introduce them to you!

CAROLINE
Caroline is an ex-pat living in the tiny town of Loughborough, England, which is somewhere near the middle. Her love of reading can be credited to her mom, who helped her read A Wrinkle in Time when she was six. She used to read YA on her Kindle, but can now be seen proudly roaming the Teen stacks at her library. She also enjoys cooking, camping, reading But Not the Hippopotamus to her son, and drinking cask-conditioned ales with her husband.

KATIE
Katie lives in London, England. She has never, ever, given up on a book (apart from Little Women- just couldn't deal with it), and consistently panics her English Lit teachers with her prioritisation of the latest YA novel over Oxbridge interview worthy books. She spends her book-free time being introduced to by friends, and subsequently becoming addicted to, tv shows, and exploring London, holding the view that, unless you're at uni, if you're not in London you might as well not be in Great Britain for all the point there is. (She is also aware this is crazy, but is too busy getting unhealthily attached
