Cooking TragicLee: Pride And Prejudice

"Chef" Lee recruits Sous-Chef Alix to help make Pride and Prejudice-inspired food. There was no pride to be found anywhere in the kitchen that day.

Cooking TragicLee: Pride And Prejudice

Happy Pride and Prejudice Week, people of the world! Confession: I've never read the book, only vaguely watched the Keira Knightley version, and definitively ruined the entire miniseries experience with Erin by babbling in a Cockney accent throughout the whole thing. So when I was recruited to do a P&P-themed cooking video, I felt totally in over my head.

Luckily for me, super-P&P fan Alix flew into town to come to my rescue! And by come to my rescue, I obviously mean I forced her to cook something wholly unappetizing which we titled Elizabeth Eggs Bennet-dict. Unlike most Austen novels, there is no happy ending here. Get yourself in a Netherfield Ball state of mind, and enjoy the horrible, horrible fruits of our labor!
