Teen Movie Madness: Final Four Results

In which we reveal our final two contenders for the title of Best Teen Movie, Ever, and Alix finally has her Sophie's Choice moment.

Teen Movie Madness: Final Four Results

At long last, we’ve reached the finals of Teen Movie Madness. It has been a long, difficult battle, but last week, two-thirds of you voted for 90s over 80s in both of our matches, saying goodbye to John Hughes heavyweights The Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. This leaves us with a bracket that looks like this:

Good work, Team FYA. You have helped fulfill my Teen Movie Madness hopes and dreams. You see, when we started this tournament, I only wanted it to end one way:

And now we’re here! This is what I’ve been lobbying for all along. But now that I’m sitting at my laptop, getting read to face off against Megan no h in this final battle, I’m filled with a mix of both excitement and dread. I’ve rewatched both films for SCIENCE, and this is my Sophie’s Choice moment. Not actually, because obviously Clueless should win. Obviously. But I love 10 Things, too, and fighting against it is going to be so difficult! Alas, we must choose a winner. Bring it, Megan.

Check back in this week for not only our final deathmatch, but also some surprise bonus teen movie madness content.
