Title: Golden Son (Red Rising Saga #2)
Author: Pierce Brown
Publication Date: 2015 January 06
Series: Red Rising Saga

Why I’m Excited:

Red Rising was one of my top picks for 2014. It’s not an easy novel, by any means, but it definitely struck a chord, and even the whole “Hunger Games meets Game of Thrones” didn’t deter me from being captivated by the unique world Brown created. I’m hoping Golden Son continues to intrigue. -Mandy C.

Title: Fairest (The Lunar Chronicles #3.5)
Author: Marissa Meyer
Publication Date: 2015 January 27
Series: The Lunar Chronicles

Why I’m Excited:

Although the fact that this novella being released means I have to wait longer for the series to complete, and it likely doesn’t feature my favorite characters in the series (i.e., the protagonists), I will take anything I can get from the Lunar Chronicles world. Plus, it can be interesting to find out the other side of a story. -Mandy C.

Title: The Mime Order (The Bone Season #2)
Author: Samantha Shannon
Publication Date: 2015 January 27
Series: The Bone Season

Why I’m Excited:

I found The Bone Season way later than most, but I really loved the steampunk meets science fiction plot—and the swoon was nearly off the charts. MOAR PLEASE. -Mandy C.

Title: The Shadow Cabinet (Shades of London #3)
Author: Maureen Johnson
Publication Date: 2015 February 10
Series: Shades of London

Why I’m Excited:

It seems like forever since The Madness Underneath left us with the cruelest ending ever. I know other things are supposed to happen, but WHAT WILL BECOME OF STEPHEN? Will he and Rory make otherworldly pottery? Will Whoopi Goldberg tell Rory, “Girl, you in danger?” After two years WE WILL FINALLY FIND OUT. -Jennie

Title: The Winner’s Crime (The Winner’s Trilogy #2)
Author: Marie Rutkoski
Publication Date: 2015 March 03
Series: The Winner’s Trilogy

Why I’m Excited:

Well, I did force lovingly suggest that the FYA Book Club read its predecessor, so you better believe I’m pumped up for this. I’m almost afraid to read this, since I know I won’t want to stop once I start and I’ll have to wait A WHOLE YEAR for more story. (Yeah, I’m already penciling in Book 3 for my Most Anticipated 2016 list; that’s how much I love this series.) -Mandy W.

Title: Burning Kingdoms (The Internment Chronicles #2)
Author: Lauren DeStefano
Publication Date: 2015 March 10
Series: The Internment Chronicles

Why I’m Excited:

It’s been two dang years since we found out what happened when Morgan dared to question authority in her community that floats amongst the clouds. I need to know what happens next! (BRB—Re-reading the first book so I can remember better what actually happened.) -Mandy C.

Title: Hold Me Closer: The Tiny Cooper Story (Will Grayson, Will Grayson #2)
Author: David Levithan
Publication Date: 2015 March 17
Series: Will Grayson, Will Grayson

Why I’m Excited:

The Will Graysons may have been the stars, but Tiny Cooper definitely stole the show. And soon, we’ll finally be able to read the full script of his autobiographical musical. Cue Sir Elton, ’cause it’s time for Tiny Cooper to take centre stage! -Mandy W.

Title: Miss Mayhem (Rebel Belle #2)
Author: Rachel Hawkins
Publication Date: 2015 April 07
Series: Rebel Belle

Why I’m Excited:

Savannah, of course, gets dibs on this one and a huge thanks for introducing us to the fun, Southern-Buffy-style world of Harper and her hot new boyfriend/ward David. But I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how much I’m looking forward to seeing what happens in Hawkins’ breezy universe of Junior League, cotillion, and supernatural ass-kicking. -Jennie

Title: The Wondrous and the Wicked (The Dispossessed #3)
Author: Page Morgan
Publication Date: 2015 April 14
Series: The Disposessed

Why I’m Excited:

Will the sexy gargoyle get his girl? I MUST KNOW. -Mandy C.

Title: Siren’s Fury (Storm Siren #2)
Author: Mary Weber
Publication Date: 2015 June 02
Series: Storm Siren

Why I’m Excited:

Storm Siren left us hanging with one of the WORST cliffhangers I’ve read in a long while. I’m hoping Siren’s Fury makes up for that … but doesn’t follow suit and leave us with yet another cliffhanger. Because, really, that’s just mean. -Mandy C.

Title: P.S. I Still Love You (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before #2)
Author: Jenny Han
Publication Date: 2015 June 02
Series: To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before

Why I’m Excited:

Not only did I love the first book, but the tease of Lara Jean’s last letter left me clamouring for more. The world might not be a wish granting factory, but Jenny Han’s certainly making mine come true with a sequel to one of my fave books from last year. -Mandy W.

Title: The Invasion of the Tearling (The Queen of the Tearling #2)
Author: Erika Johansen
Publication Date: 2015 June 09
Series: The Queen of the Tearling

Why I’m Excited:

The Queen of the Tearling is yet another series that crosses the line between YA and adult like a kid playing a game of Red Rover (see also: Golden Son), and yet, I want to know more about Kelsea’s world, her kingdom and what nefarious plot her enemies have in store for her next. -Mandy C.

Title: The Heart of Betrayal (The Remnant Chronicles #2)
Author: Mary E. Pearson
Publication Date: 2015 July 07
Series: The Remnant Chronicles

Why I’m Excited:

The twists! The turns! The ending that left us hanging, in more ways than one—Pearson certainly knows how to write an engrossing story. I can’t wait to dive back into Lia’s adventures, and find out more about the two men in her life. -Mandy C.

Title: Lair of Dreams (The Diviners #2)
Author: Libba Bray
Publication Date: 2015 July 07
Series: The Diviners

Why I’m Excited:

The publishing date on this one has been moved back a few times for reasons she’s publicly discussed, which means it’s made our Most Anticipated list two years in a row! I’m willing to wait if it means losing ourselves in Evie’s dark 1920s New York. -Jennie

Title: The Last Star (The 5th Wave #3)
Author: Rick Yancey
Publication Date: 2015 August 2016 March
Series: The 5th Wave

Why I’m Excited:

There ain’t no title, and there ain’t no synopsis, but there are SO MANY QUESTIONS TO ANSWER. Let us pray that I don’t die from TEABS before this book is released. -Sarah

Title: The Vanishing Throne (The Falconer #2)
Author: Elizabeth May
Publication Date: 2015 September 17
Series: The Falconer

Why I’m Excited:

There seems to be a theme with many of my most anticipated picks for 2015: their predecessors left us hanging in the worst of ways. The Falconer was no exception. Why you gotta play me like that authors? I’m such a sucker for a TBC. -Mandy C.

Title: The Immortal Heights (The Elemental Trilogy #3)
Author: Sherry Thomas
Publication Date: 2015 September
Series: The Elemental Trilogy

Why I’m Excited:

The second book in this series (which, admittedly, suffered from Bridge Book Blues), seemed to pose more questions than it answered, so I’m looking forward to some actual answers/resolutions in the third book of the series. -Mandy C.

Title: The Rose Society (The Young Elites #2)
Author: Marie Lu
Publication Date: 2015 October 06
Series: The Young Elites

Why I’m Excited:

With the stunning finish that The Young Elites had, I obviously need Adelina and the rest of the superpowered cast back in my life, STAT. Will the Rose Society emerge as the Brotherhood of Mutants to the Dagger Society’s X-Men? I sure as hell hope so. -Mandy W.

Title: The City of Mirrors (The Passage #3)
Author: Justin Cronin
Publication Date: 2015 October 22
Series: The Passage

Why I’m Excited:

This isn’t YA, but my fervent anticipation requires that it be included here. It’s been over two years since The Twelve was released and seriously, Justin, YOU’RE KILLING ME. -Sarah

Title: Winter (The Lunar Chronicles #4)
Author: Marissa Meyer
Publication Date: 2015 November 24
Series: The Lunar Chronicles

Why I’m Excited:

This is what I feel when I think about this series drawing to a close:

Giselle (Amy Adams) excited, happy, delighted

Followed closely by this:

R2-D2 tips over; overwhelmed
#FEELINGS

When I realize this series is drawing to a close. I trust that the series will end well, but, but … the characters are my friends, y’all. I’m going to miss them like whoa. -Mandy C.

Title: Blood Passage (Dark Caravan Cycle #2)
Author: Heather Demetrios
Publication Date: 2015 2016
Series: Dark Caravan Cycle

Why I’m Excited:

As soon as I finished Exquisite Captive, I just had to know what’s going to happen to my favourite jinn on the other side of (and during) that awkward plane ride. Plus, Heather Demetrios’ research trip for Blood Passage gives me serious travel envy that can only be cured by reading the book immediately. Won’t somebody please give me the cure!? -Mandy W.

Cover of Truly Madly Famously, with the title written in bright bulb lights and a star on top

Title: Truly Madly Famously (Famous in Love #2)
Author: Rebecca Serle
Publication Date: 2015
Series: Famous in Love

Why I’m Excited:

I got real hot and heavy with Famous in Love, and the way we ended things.. well, let’s just say that I’ve got some needs that must be SATISFIED with this sequel. I’m itching to return to the drama-filled, uber-juicy life of Paige Townsen and her hunky co-stars in the Twilight Locked trilogy. TEAM JORDAN. -Sarah

A black and blue deer on a white background with ravens flying around

Title: The Raven King (The Raven Cycle #4)
Author: Maggie Stiefvater
Publication Date: 2015 2016
Series: The Raven Cycle

Why I’m Excited:

We need to create a term that captures that feeling of DYING TO READ A BOOK and NOT WANTING A SERIES TO BE OVER. Because I will lean heavily on that term (anticimorse? pre-TEABS?) when the fourth and final Raven Boys book is released. I’ll be the first to admit that the third book disappointed me, but that just means that a whole lotta shizz is gonna go down in this last installment, and I will DEVOUR IT WHOLE. And then I will cry all of the tears, because a world without new adventures with Blue and her boys is a very bleak world indeed. -Sarah
