Teen Heartthrob Madness: Sweet Sixteen Results

Do you still have a horse heartthrob in this race?

Teen Heartthrob Madness: Sweet Sixteen Results

Another March Sunday is here, which means that it’s time to reveal another round of results in our Teen Heartthrob Madness!

The biggest winner of the week was Justin Timberlake, the lone boy bander left in this contest, with 70% of the votes. (Bye Christian Slater! You made it farther than I ever expected!) The runner ups for most soundly beating their competitors were Adam Brody (over Christian Bale) and Patrick Swayze (over Prince William) with 67% and 63% of the votes, respectively.

As you can see, none of the races (save JT vs. CS) were drastically in favor of one heartthrob over the other. In fact, the majority of the races were split by 16 or less percentage points. The closest race of the week—surprising to no one who has been following the dramatic turn of events—was between Heath Ledger and Orlando Bloom. Heath narrowly made it into the Elite Eight with 51% of the votes.

Let’s have one last look at a few of our fallen competitors:

And here’s where our interactive bracket stands now:

(1) Justin Timberlake vs. (2) Joshua Jackson

(1) Heath Ledger vs. (2) Patrick Swayze

(1) River Phoenix vs. (2) Adam Brody

(4) Paul Rudd vs. (3) Zac Efron

Checking in with the FYA reader leaderboards, Andy L. had the most correct picks this round, followed closely by a six-way tie (!) between Ciara D., Elena G., Amy G., Kim E., Sarah Bee and Sarah Sparkle Unicorn.

And, there’s been a shakeup in the FYA HQ leaderboard, which now stand like so:

1. Mandy W.
2. Jennie
3. Megan no h
4. Posh
5. Mandy C.
6. Rosemary
7. Alix
8. Amanda K.

Are you still feeling solid in your guesses on who’s going to take the title, or are your brackets totally busted? Let us know in the comments!
