YA Movie News Roundup: Tons Of Scoop Out Of SDCC

Welcome back to the YA Movie News Roundup! Let's hop to.

Over at Birth.Movies.Death., Evan and I got to attend San Diego Comic-Con International last week and covered a whole bunch of nerdy stuff that might interest you! Here's the roundup:

Specifically FYA-related:

I had such a blast at The 100 panel. My writeup, including some juicy S3 news!

Evan's writeup of the Mockingjay panel and trailer.

Our favorite jokes from the always-hilarious Supernatural panel.

My writeup of the excellent panel featuring Joss Whedon, introducing his new "Victorian female Batman" comic Twist.

Pan doesn't look too hot, Hugh Jackman notwithstanding.

The iZombie Season One sizzle reel and panel scoop

Scorch Trials and Victor Frankenstein panels writeup. (I attended both of those but didn't recap them, but this is a good representation.)

The Sherlock Christmas special writeup and clip.

Not  specifically-FYA related:

From the DC TV presentation, my favorite night of SDCC two years running: The Flash, ArrowLegends of TomorrowSupergirl and a look at the The Flash and Arrow costumes on the convention floor.

Out of the Fox panel: X-Men: Apocalypse looks amazingFantastic Four's final trailer is pretty cuteDeadpool looks hella Deadpool

Evan's Hannibal writeup, and the panel itself.

Evan's Hateful Eight writeup, and the panel itself.

Evan's Star Wars writeup, and the panel itself.

Evan's Suicide Squad writeup, and the trailer itself.

The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice footage was pretty dour.

Agent Carter season 2 is going to Hollywood! And the showrunners reveal S2's villains.

And it looks like a Dark Tower movie is really coming, though I won't truly believe it until I see it.

We have even more SDCC coverage on BMD, so check it out here

And in non-SDCC news (there is some!):

More Hunger Games movies? I don't know why I feel surprised.

Greg Berlanti's Archie show is moving from Fox to The CW, where it belongs. Does this mean it'll be in the Arrowverse somehow?

An oral history of Paul Rudd and Alicia Silverstone's wonderful Clueless kiss.

And finally, more Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them casting

That's it for this week - hit us with your thoughts downstairs!
