YA Movie News Roundup: The Most Recent MOCKINGJAY PART 2 Trailer Is Spoiler City

Welcome back to the YA Movie News Roundup! Let's hop to.

First up: a trailer for Mockingjay Part 2, which you should definitely, 100% not watch if you don't want some SERIOUS hints about who's going to die.

Oh man, oh man, the trailer for The Jungle Book is awfully pretty.

Lauren Oliver's Before I Fall has been acquired by Awesomeness Films, which is apparently a real production company, and last week they cast Vampire Academy's Zoey Deutch in the lead role as Samantha. More on the film:

Ry Russo-Young will direct Maria Maggenti’s Black List script, with revisions by Gina Prince-Bythewood. The plot centers on Samantha Kingston (Deutch), a high school senior who finds that she may be living the last day of her life over and over until she gets it right. If you had only one day left on earth who would you kiss, who would you tell the real truth to, who would you save? Amid that, she must untangle the mystery surrounding her death—and discover the true value of everything she is in danger of losing.

Sarah J. Maas' Throne of Glass has just been optioned for television. Mandy C delivered a casting call for us.

Director Wes Ball will complete The Maze Runner trilogy. This guy has a vision!

Some dirt on the secrets surrounding The 100's Grounders.

And finally, in not YA but definitely relevant to our interests news: Elizabeth Banks is in talks to direct a Charlie's Angels reboot. The fact that Elizabeth Banks is now a hot-shot mainstream director is the coolest thing ON EARTH.

That's it for this week - give us your thoughts downstairs!
