Title: Stars Above (The Lunar Chronicles #4.5)
Author: Marissa Meyer
Publication Date: 2016 February 02
Series: The Lunar Chronicles

Why I’m Excited:

When Winter was released last month, it was a bittersweet moment for fans of the Lunar Chronicles (like myself). On the one hand, it’s great when a cast of characters that you’ve come to know and love see resolutions (or, in some cases, happily ever afters). On the other, it’s sad to know that you’re never (assumedly) going to get to go on adventures when the characters again. Thankfully, Marissa Meyer obviously loves these characters as much as I do, and is releasing this compilation of various short Lunar Chronicles short stories—including five that have never been available anywhere else! -Mandy C.

Why I’m Excited:

The Red Rising series is filled with epic battles, both on other planets and in space, and some seriously intriguing characters. Pierce Brown continues to pull out all the stops for these books, and I can’t wait to see what happens next. -Mandy C.

Title: Siren’s Song (Storm Siren #3)
Author: Mary Weber
Publication Date: 2016 March 01
Series: Storm Siren

Why I’m Excited:

I’ve been a fan of Nym and her struggle to overcome Draewulf since the opening pages of Storm Siren, and it’s been terrible having to wait to see how everything resolves. I think I can make it three more months. Maybe. -Mandy C.

Title: The Winner’s Kiss (The Winner’s Trilogy #3)
Author: Marie Rutkoski

Why I’m Excited:

The fancy dress might be no more [Ed. note: er, never mind?], but here’s hoping no one else will be joining it in the graveyard. LET THEM LIVE, MARIE! Or, y’know, continue crushing our hearts, since you do it so well. Which side will emerge victorious in the war for Herran? Will Kestrel and Arin defy the odds and end up together? Will I ever be ready to kiss this series goodbye? Let’s find out on March 29th! -Mandy W.

Title: The Raven King (The Raven Cycle #4)
Author: Maggie Stiefvater
Publication Date: 2016 April 26
Series: The Raven Cycle

Why I’m Excited:

I am, no joke, planning on taking a vacation day on 4/26 so I can say good-bye to Cabeswater in the privacy of my own home. (And so I can recover from the midnight release “tale gate” my book club will have in the book store parking lot.) Will Gansey survive? Will a certain couple finally get together? The only thing I know for sure is that I’ll be stuck with a raging case of TEABS when this incredible series finally comes to a close. -Sarah

Series: A Court of Thorns and Roses

Why I’m Excited:

A Court of Thrones and Roses brought some serious swoon into my life, and introduced me to the deliciously tortured (but oh-so-delightful) fae, Tamlin. I’m hoping for more of the same in the second book. -Mandy C.

Title: The Last Star (The 5th Wave #3)
Author: Rick Yancey
Publication Date: 2016 May 24

Why I’m Excited:

Just thinking about this book makes my heart race and my palms start to sweat because I WANT TO KNOW WHAT HAPPENS but also I DON’T WANT IT TO BE OVER. Rick Yancey’s sci-fi series has been an epic thrill ride, and while there’s a very good chance that I’ll die from a heart attack before it’s over, I’m looking forward to this last adventure with Cassie and the gang. -Sarah

Pearson has built for this series, and I’m dying to see how Lia’s going to get out of the situation she found herself in at the end of The Heart of Betrayal. -Mandy C.

Finally, we’re going to find out what happens after An Ember in the Ashes ended. Between A Torch Against the NightThe Winner’s Kiss, and The Raven King, I don’t know if my heart can take this spring’s offerings. How will Laia ever survive this brutal world? (Or will she? I can’t wait to find out.) -Jennie

Author: Leigh Bardugo

Series: Six of Crows

Why I’m Excited:

I couldn’t have been happier to revisit the world Leigh Bardugo created in Shadow and Bone in Six of Crows, until I realized that Six of Crows was an even more entertaining series. I can’t wait to revisit the motley crew of Kaz, et al, and see what shenanigans they get up to next. -Mandy C.

Author: Rick Riordan
Publication Date: 2016 October 04
Series: Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard

Why I’m Excited:

Based on how the first book leaves off, this sequel is shaping up to be quite the family affair. Plus, after years of Marvel providing my sole pop culture frame of reference for Thor, I can’t wait to read more of Rick Riordan’s TV-obsessed version and his trusty Mjölnir (not a euphemism). -Mandy W.

Why I’m Excited:
