Between Two Lockers With FYA

Announcing: A new sub-series in which the residents of FYA HQ reveal all!

Between Two Lockers With FYA

Over the past few years, FYA has interviewed some of the coolest authors around in a series we call Between Two Lockers. In the series, we question the authors about their upcoming books, what they were like in high school, what kind of fun they’d bring to an FYA slumber party, and—my favorite part—predict their futures totally accurately with a game of MASH. (Find a list of the interviews to date below.)

The series is a ton of fun, particularly when it proves what we already know: that YA authors are some of the most awesome people around.

While discussing plans for the new year—and speaking of awesome people—we thought it might be fun to put a spin on the standard Between Two Lockers format and interview … ourselves!

Over the next few months, look to this space for interviews with your fave FYA writers and contributors, featuring answers to burning questions such as:
- How’d you come to write for FYA?
- Why is YA important?
- What’s your best karaoke song?

And, rest assured, there will be MASH.

Mandy Curtis's photo About the Author: Mandy is a small town girl living in a nerdy world, or—if you want to get literal—an editor/writer living in Austin, TX. In addition to yearning for YA books—the more dystopian or fantastical, the better—she can also be found swooning over superheroes, dreaming of The Doctor and grinning at GIFs.
