Teen BFF Madness: Perfect Pals, Sweet Sixteen

Only you can decide the final Perfect Pals face-off.

Teen BFF Madness: Perfect Pals, Sweet Sixteen

It's the last bracket in the Sweet Sixteen already, and so many of our favorites have already been knocked out of the running. Do you still have any favorites in this round? Have the choices gotten easier, or harder? Is your bracket totally screwed?

Let's take a look at the current bracket:

And now, our favorite moments from the remaining four friend groups!

(8) Ferris/Cameron (Ferris Bueller's Day Off) vs. (5) Angela/Rayanne/Rickie (My So-Called Life)

When it comes to Ferris and Cameron, it's hard to top the parade scene--Ferris is in his element, and Cameron is finally able to loosen up (a little) after an entire day of worrying. Angela, Rayanne, and Rickie have far more mundane moments, but they're all full of pure, teenage sincerity, like this quote:

Rickie: If you were about to do it, okay, what would you want the other person to say, like, right before.
Rayanne: "This won't take long."
Rickie: No, seriously.
Rayanne: "Do I know you?"
Rickie: No, like, for real. Like, romantic.
Angela: "You're so beautiful, it hurts to look at you."
Rayanne: "It hurts to look at you?"
Rickie: How'd you think of that?
Rayanne: Where would it hurt?

So who will it be?

(3) Sam/Neal/Bill (Freaks and Geeks) vs. (2) Maddie/Queenie (Code Name Verity)

My favorite Sam/Neal/Bill moment has to be Halloween. It's too real: Sam thinks he's too old to go trick or treating, Neal is obnoxious as usual, and Bill steals the show with his Bionic Woman costume. (I know this is the second time I've mentioned this in March Madness, but that's because I really love that episode, dammit.) On the other hand, we have Maddie and Queenie, whose friendship is shaped by an entire war--so when I think of those two, I think, "Fly the plane, Maddie." As Elizabeth Wein herself has said, it's about telling your best friend to do what you have to do and not let fear stop you. And isn't that kind of support what best friends exist for?

Rock the vote now, because polls close Saturday, April 1 at 11:59pm. Who do you think will make it on to the Elite Eight?
