A Friends musical comes to the streets of New York, plus Gina Rodriguez dons an animated red hat and trenchcoat.

YA Onscreen: I’ll Be There For You…Off-Broadway

Welcome to this week's YA Onscreen! Was the Easter bunny good to you? Who else believes Starburst jelly beans are the best jelly beans? (Because they are.) Okay, enough chitchat - let's hop through the links below!

Jane the Virgin's Gina Rodriguez has reportedly been cast to voice the titular character of Carmen Sandiego in Netflix's new reboot of the series. It will be animated, so we won't actually see Ms. Rodriguez in the iconic outfit, but I have no doubt she will keep those gumshoes on their toes.

For our New York readers, you will soon be able to purchase tickets to the Off-Broadway musical version of Friends, featuring original songs like "Hey Ugly Naked Guy Who Lives Across the Street!", "Could I BE Anymore…in Love with Monica", and "The Only Coffee Shop in New York City". I don't know how to feel about this. I am a Friends superfan (my car is even named Pheebs), but this is going to be AWFUL, and do I bask in that awfulness for what it is, or pretend it doesn't exist? I'm going to need one of you to go and report back.

This teaser trailer (and new poster!) for Star Wars: The Last Jedi already has 26 million views, so you've probably seen it by now, but if not, feel free to bask in the long shots of water and islands below:

Kathleen Kennedy, Lucasfilm President, has confirmed that this new movie will answer the questions surrounding Rey's parentage.

Mark Hamill did an emotional tribute to Carrie Fisher at the Star Wars Celebration this weekend.

Not to be outdone, Starz has also dropped a teaser trailer of the upcoming third season of Outlander:

Neil Gaiman's American Gods small-screen premiere will be on April 30, and the reviews coming in so far have been positive.

Orphan Black's final season *sob* will start on BBC America on June 10:

Why Meredith finds 13 Reasons Why troubling in the way it handles adult topics like rape, abuse, and suicide.

Netflix's MST3K is officially back, and to kick it off they shared their thoughts on the first few minutes of Stranger Things:

ICYMI, Jude Law has been cast as Young Dumbledore in the next Fantastic Beasts film.

Dylan O'Brien and Taylor Kitsch are in a new movie together called American Assassin:

That's it for us this week. Let us know what you thought of that Star Wars trailer below!
