Title: Wynonna Earp
Fix: Sisters Slaying The Supernatural, Wild West, Old Timey Charm/Mustache, Feminist AF
The outcast descendant of lawman Wyatt Earp teams up with an immortal Doc Holliday to rid the world of demonic revenants from the Wild West.
You know how you'll be watching Supernatural and, while loving the Brothers Winchester with your whole heart, wishing that there were more women around? Well I've got the show you need! Wynonna Earp has it all: supernatural goings-on, estranged sisters trying to do right by each other while fighting personal and literal demons, 'ships that you will declare yourself going down with, AND a very colorful, very handsome immortal Doc Holliday who's always handy with the quips and the bourbon.
Wynonna hasn't been in her hometown of Purgatory for several years; not since she accidentally killed her father the night that a bunch of revenants came knocking on their door and took her older sister Willa. With Willa gone, Wynonna is now The Heir - she's the only one who can put the revenants back in hell, and to do that she needs her trusty Peacemaker. The government seems to know that there's something different about Purgatory, and they've sent in Agent Dolls of Black Ops to get more intel. He and Wynonna strike up an interesting partnership out of mutual need, and Agent Dolls definitely has a secret or two himself.
While Wynonna is busy trying to decide whose pants to get in first, Dolls' or Holliday's, the real heart of this show lies with her relationship with her younger sister, Waverly. While Wynonna spent some time in an a psychiatric ward and off running around Europe, Waverly has been at home dating the town blowhard and doing tons of research on her family's history. The suspicious death of their uncle is what brings Wynonna home, and now she's got to decide whether or not she's going to put down the local demon scum led by Bobo Del Rey that murdered her uncle and has been torturing her family for decades.

Couch-Sharing Capability: High
While I couldn't get my husband to watch it with me, I had NO problem getting some of my girlfriends over to drink and watch a few episodes. The mythology of the show is more complex than it seems, and there's all kinds of OMG moments in which to share.
Recommended Level of Inebriation: Brown Liquor Of Your Choice
Whiskey, bourbon, or beer. Doc Holliday wouldn't have it any other way.

Has anyone else watched this show? What did you think? I'm not saying I'm obsessed but I MAY be considering getting a Doc Holliday quote tattooed on my body.
