YA Onscreen: Meet Wade Watts In The New READY PLAYER ONE Trailer

The "official" Ready Player One trailer has dropped, plus the Golden Globes nominations--and snubs--bring the discord, and could another random reboot coming straight outta your childhood be in the works?

YA Onscreen: Meet Wade Watts In The New READY PLAYER ONE Trailer

Thanks for joining us for another edition of YA Onscreen! I’m currently feeling the December crunch (too many things to do, too little time in which to do them) so no more chatting—let’s hit the links!

No word on the return date, but it's official: Big Little Lies is coming back for a second season.

I love the Bad Lip Reading YouTube channel (go watch the Twilight one if you haven't), and they've hit on what will surely be a popular one: a Bad Lip Reading of Stranger Things.

WHOA--Joey Lawrence said there has been "serious talk" about a reboot of Blossom. I gotta admit I loved that show as a kid, but a reboot? WH-NO-A.

The interwebs are abuzz about the 2018 Golden Globe nominations. Did your faves get snubbed?

The internet is having some fun with this strangely proportioned poster for Ready Player One. Plus, the new trailer:

The film adaptation of Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark has its director.

Which Elf character you are, based on your sign.

Relevant to our interests: 2017 TV's 19 sexiest scenes.

On the flip side, TV scenes from 2017 that we wish we could unsee.

Before you get too excited, iZombie still doesn't have a premiere date for 2018, but here's a sneak peek at the brain (and persona) Liv will be eating in the fourth season's second episode.

Marvel's Jessica Jones' second season will be airing on Netflix on March 8, 2018

In UGH news, Jessica Chastain reveals a she got an email from a well-known actor who told her to "calm down" about all of the Harvey Weinstein allegations (Chastain has been very vocal about her support for the women coming forward and about a more positive change in Hollywood). I'm sure she won't reveal the name because she's a classy person--much classier than the person who wrote that to her.

Who else wants to be invited to a slumber party with IRL friends Margot Robbie and Gal Gadot? (And then will probably feel very intimidated because they are so pretty, but then be annoyed that you feel intimidated because we're all just human beings, then get stressed about the fact that you're not as woke as you hoped?) (This slumber party sounds stressful.)

That's it for the week! Let us know what news you've seen in the comments below.
