Netflix releases a few promo images for the upcoming Archie spin-off, plus a reboot of Charlie's Angels, and Felicity! In! Space!

YA Onscreen: A Great Poster For The CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA

Man, is there anything worse than the week after a nice long vacation? Oh, sorry, hi, everyone! Thanks for joining me for another bloody work week of YA Onscreen! Don’t mind me—to the links!

The rumored cast of a Charlie’s Angels reboot, set to potentially come out summer 2019, may feature Lupita Nyong'o, Kristen Stewart, and Naomi Scott. Interesting!

Keri Russell is rumored to be in talks for a role in the next Star Wars movie. Use those Abrams connections, Keri!

In more confirmed Star Wars news, Billy Dee Williams is set to reprise his Lando role for Star Wars: Episode IX

Chris Hemsworth looking all clean-shaven and clean-cut for his upcoming role in the Men in Black reboot, which just started filming:

How Ant-Man and the Wasp set up Marvel’s future moving forward (probable spoilers for those who haven’t watched it yet, like moi).

The poster for Netflix’s upcoming Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is appropriately creepy (see above!).

Miriam Shor, arguably the best part of Younger, talks about how the Time’s Up movement inspired her to get behind the camera and into the director’s chair.

The fifth Indiana Jones movie has been pushed back to 2021. I’m pretty sure no one is out there clamoring for it, so, sure, fine.

Karen Gillian has made her directorial debut after six years of writing, financing, and shooting. The Party’s Just Beginning will be out in the US in the fall.

So this article amused me because obviously we, as a YA book site, are quite “in the know” about YA books and trends. But I’ve never heard of After by Anna Todd, which apparently started life as a Wattpad novel (then was published) and has been read by supposedly a billion readers. It’s being turned into a movie starring Katherine Langford’s younger sister, Josephine. The story sounds like one of our worst FYA nightmares. This movie might be bonkers.

That’s it for the week! Let me know what we missed in the comments below.
