Welcome back to FYA’s Studio Ghibli series! Since we last met, EEEEEEK the reviews for Hayao Miyazaki’s (Golden Globe nominated! The Wind Rises have started rolling in and we’re inching closer and closer to its North American release date! No offense to all those reviewers, but LA LA LA I AM NOT LISTENING. (Deffo bookmarking those reviews for later, though!)

As for this series, we’ve already gone through the movies from 1984 to 1991. This time, we’re taking on the ones from 1992 to 2001. There’s actually another movie that falls within this timeframe — Ocean Waves (1993) — but it was originally a TV movie, and commenter Jaimerey assures me this is an oversight that I can live with.

So! Let’s forge ahead with this set of offerings, brought to you by voice talents from Spongebob Squarepants and According to Jim (among tons of big names, animation and otherwise). These movies also seriously test my resolve re: nudiepants is not weird. And just like last time, I watched the Disney English dubs, unless otherwise stated.

That’s it for this installment! So have y’all watched all of these movies? My faves from this set have got to be the ones with Cary Elwes (Porco Rosso and Whisper of the Heart) — which were yours?
