A great TikTok on the way the costume designer of Glass Onion used masks to inform the characters in the arrival scene – beware of spoilers, obviously!
Glass Onion costume designer Jenny Eagan did something that I have never seen in a film yet, and that is incorporate masks in her costumes (who is wearing them, what kind of mask, and how they are wearing them) in order to communicate details about each of the characters in this wild ensemble. . I absolutely loved this movie, and I loved Jenny’s intentional costume design choices. The costumes in this movie were so fun and I loved how even something as small as masks really played a part in the storytelling. Which Glass Onion character do you think is the best dressed? Benoit Blanc, Miles Bron, Andi Brand, Claire Debella, Lionel Toussaint, Birdie Jay, Duke, Whiskey, or Peg?
