1. Who do you think the title of the book is referring to? Did you see any parallels between the myths Roman told Iris and their situation?

2. What did you think of Roman and Iris’s relationship? Did you enjoy their love story?

3. How effective was Ross’s world-building outside of the romance? Did the setting work for you? What did you think of the world’s mythology? Were there any details you still have questions about?

4. What did you think of Ross’s depiction of war within the book?

5. Iris deals with grief of losing her mother and her brother, and both her and Roman see a lot of soldiers killed in action. What did you think of the portrayal of grief and death in the book?
