Kate Leth

Hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, Kate Leth began publishing comics online in 2011. After building an audience on tumblr with their autobiographical work and regular comics for now-defunct geek hub ComicsAlliance, they wrote three Adventure Time graphic novels for KaBoom! including the Marceline-centric Seeing Red, which made the NYT Bestseller list for Graphic Novels. In addition, they penned three volumes of Bravest Warriors, a Fraggle Rock collection and drew several covers, backup stories and more.

Kate is also an embroiderer, poet, makeup artist, photographer, and built a surprisingly decent following on Tiktok while documenting their recovery from top surgery. They live in Halifax, Nova Scotia with an absolutely ridiculous cat and several regrets. They are queer and genderfluid/non-binary, a fact that greatly influences their work.
