Y’all know what tomorrow is, right? One of the biggest days of the year: On Feb. 14, 1859, Oregon was admitted as the 33rd state in the union. My home state is celebrating its 156th birthday, y’all*!
*This word is not something I grew up saying, just to clarify.
It’s also—in case you hadn’t noticed the displays in pretty much every store that went up the day after Christmas (sometimes the week before)—Valentine’s Day! To help you celebrate, FYA put on their heart-shaped thinking caps and came up with some fun, cheeky, and occasionally a little risque Valentines for you to share with your friends and loved ones based on some of our favorite books, movies and TV shows.
“You’re the Bellamy to my Clarke”“We have perfect enemistry, Valentine”“You’re the Monty to my Jasper”“You can call me princess anytime / I’ll only pretend to hate it”“You put the ‘Wick’ in wicked, Valentine”“I’ll let you tend to my wounds / Even when it was your brother who did it”
“You’re the Cohen to my Summer”“You’re the Summer to my Cohen”“Acknowledge me now or lose me forever”“You’re the Captain Oats to my Princess Sparkle”“You’re the Princess Sparkle to my Captain Oats”
“A Valentine’s poem for you / Our fine Jamie wears a tartan kilt / A greater physique has never been built. / Claire saw his butt / And her thoughts turned to smut / Now she takes his sword straight to the hilt. / Happy Valentine’s Day!”
