I may be trying to read too many books at once.
Scholastic wanted to feature Maggie Tokuda’s book, a story about her grandparents meeting in a Japanese American internment camp in the 1940s, but only if she removed the word “racism” from the author’s note. And yes, you read that sentence that correctly.
Minka Kelly’s memoir, Tell Me Everything, is not pulling any punches about the Friday Night Lights cast or anything else.
