It’s probably because I watched HOCUS POCUS way after my formative years that UNQUESTIONABLY I would choose Casper over Thackery Binx.
Valid! I’ve been thinking about this recently, and I am squarely on Team Binx. There’s something about the way he cared for Dani (and not in a creepy way, mind you) that makes me feel like he’d be the better long-term squeeze.
Also valid! I had actually thought about adding a disclaimer to my pick that I don’t know what age I would be in this hypothetical boyfriend choosing scenario, like would I just be the age I was back when I met them, or would they be aged up to match me now, etc. (Or just like, choosing the better hypothetical boyfriend, period, rather than better hypothetical boyfriend for me.)
I would totally pick differently if I were to pick back in the 90s vs. now. For sure. This is a loaded question with a lot of nuances to it. Sorry to do that to us on a Friday. 😉
