Here’s wishing you a great weekend. But first …
ICYMI on FYA
Sarah shared our big news: We have a Patreon! Regardless of whether you can donate or not, THANK YOU for being a part of the FYA community.
She also shared her passion for season 2 of The Wilds in this week’s Stream It—and she wants to chat about it with you in the comments!
In this week’s Book Reports:
- Stephanie reviewed Scott Reintgen’s A Door in the Dark, an exciting new fantasy featuring a main character who’d likely knock you over on her way to the top.
- Brian reviewed James Klise’s I’ll Take Everything You Have, a “light-hearted romp” with historical views of the fight to be oneself, and Alisha Rai’s While You Were Dreaming, which is (as you might be thinking) a YA version of While You Were Sleeping.
- Regina reviewed Shamim Sarif’s The Shadow Mission (The Athena Protocol #2), which, while featuring a great look at Mumbai, didn’t live up to the promise of its predecessor.
- And I reviewed the quirky and queer (but sadly ultimately underwhelming) Bianca Torre is Afraid of Everything by Justine Pucella Winans.
